We write to inform you that the NFIFWI has decided to participate in One Day Strike Action against Insurance Laws (Amendment) Bill. They have appealed to all the employees to participate in the strike on the following day of the passage of the Bill in Rajya Sabha. We enclose herewith a copy of their circular on this subject.

We request all our Units across the country to coordinate with NFIFWI units also locally and organize joint strike rallies. The Bill is marked for introduction and passage on Tuesday the 16th December, 2014. If the Bill is passed in the Rajya Sabha on the same day, all our Units will go on One Day strike the next day.

As the date of strike is dependent on the passage of the Bill in Rajya Sabha, the employees should be advised not to go on leave from 16th December onwards so that the strike action will be a thumping success.

With greetings,

Comradely yours,

V. RAMESH

General Secretary.
