The meeting of the Central Trade Unions held on 22 February 2018, decided to widen the campaign against the government policies and develop and intensify sectoral struggles while reiterating the resolve to intensify preparation for indefinite strike in the days to come.
It is decided to observe all India protest day on 15 March 2018 in solidarity with the striking Defence Production workers against anti-national privatization move and against the Anti-people Union Budget 2018-19.

All state committees and industrial federations are requested to start preparations immediately and make detailed plans to ensure effective campaign and participation in the programmes.
You are aware that the Secretariat held at Patna on 5-6th March, 2018 decided to go on One Hour Walk-out Strike preceding lunch recess on 28.3.18. The Secretariat also decided to approach Class-I & II organizations for a joint action. We are happy to inform that Class-I Officers' Federation has accepted to join the strike action. NFIFWI has extended total support to our programme action. However, they expressed their inability to participate in the strike action. A joint circular is issued by AIIEA, NFIFWI & Class-I Officers' Federation.
